"TRY IT ON EVERYTHING" Movie Premier - Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Location: Innis Town Hall 2 Sussex Ave Please call to reserve your seat. 416-712-8840 "A Documentary Film about healing, energy therapy, and the road to self-love"
On October 26, 2007, a group of people gathered at Clear Point Center in Stafford Springs, Connecticut to document their personal journeys through the application of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), an alternative healing method that utilizes a system of tapping on energy meridians found in the body.
The 10 participants were selected through written and verbal applications from hundreds of people who were initially considered. Their stories, along with interview clips from experts in the field of EFT, are carefully orchestrated into a documentary called Try It On Everything.
While watching this film, you might recognize local resident Jackie Carron. Carron was one of the 10 participants filmed for this movie, chosen to work on attracting abundance and a fear of public speaking.
Carron describes the movie experience as “a completely life changing event”.
Nick Ortner, founder of Try It On Everything Productions and producer of the film, experienced his own healing through the application of these techniques. He knew he wanted to do something to share this message with the world. On the film’s website, www.tryitoneverything.com, Ortner says:
Imagine experiencing something that has helped you when nothing else was working. Something that has helped you through some hard times in your life and has helped you create more joy than ever before. Just like that great movie, all you really want to do is tell everyone you know about it!
That's why Try It Productions was founded. Our purpose is that of spreading a message of hope, healing and joy so that people can experience “it" for themselves. Following through on this idea of giving EFT an international audience, Ortner, his sister, Jessica Maya Ortner, and friend, Nick Polizzi, came together and began a journey across the nation, seeking other people who were familiar with EFT. They recorded hours of experts on the subject, including icons such as Bob Proctor, Dr. Joe Vitale, Dr. Carol Look, Jack Canfield, Cheryl Richardson, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Bob Doyle, Dr. Norm Shealy, Brad Yates, Rick Wilkes, Dr. Dawson Church, Ann Adams, Carol Tuttle, and many more.
With the interviews completed, the producers set their sights on finding 10 people who were willing to expose their deepest emotions, documenting that process for the healing of themselves and others. The initial applications were made available to thousands of people through various websites that focus on such topics.
“Being a fan of Dr. Joe Vitalie, I receive daily updates from his Blog. Last summer I received an e-mail which talked about a new movie being made called “Try It On Everything” where the producers were looking for 10 people willing to share their real life issues and spend 4 days “tapping” through them. I had been interested in EFT and figured I’d send in my application. I was shocked and surprised to learn that I was chosen. I’ll never forget the day my blackberry started vibrating and it was a message from Jessica saying I’d been picked. I just knew my life was about to take on a whole new meaning”
Carron has been a Realtor in Toronto for nearly 3 years having come into the business as a second career. She is building a team and currently has one agent working with her and now refers to her business as “The Carron Team”. She is passionate about real estate and enjoys helping people realize their dreams of home ownership.
“I was excited beyond belief to be picked as a participant in this movie” she said.
“I never dreamed I would actually be in a movie. But I always knew that I wanted to contribute to the world in a meaningful way. I was never quite sure what that way would be until I was introduced to EFT and then subsequently participated in this movie. It feels like my whole world has opened up, because of the mental shift I made while filming for this movie. Since we attract into our life what we think about most of the time, it’s critical that our thoughts are positive. Now, whenever those negative thoughts creep in, I just “tap” them away. It’s so simple yet so profoundly effective.” For further information, please contact CARRON at 416-712-8840 or jackie@jackiecarron.com
